What happens when we let go of perfection and trust the creative process? This four-session mixed media workshop is designed for adults who want to explore, experiment, and rediscover the joy of creating. Each week introduces new materials, techniques, and creative challenges while encouraging participants to embrace unexpected outcomes, “happy accidents,” and the evolution of an artwork. Rather than focusing on a perfect finished piece, this workshop celebrates curiosity, problem-solving, and artistic play. Participants will discover how layers, texture, colour, mark-making, and unconventional materials can transform both their artwork and the way they approach creativity. By the final session, artists will combine the techniques they’ve explored with their own investigative practices to create a unique mixed media artwork that reflects their personal creative journey. No previous mixed media experience is necessary—only a willingness to experiment and trust the process.
